2010 Cape Mentelle Wallcliffe Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Brilliant very pale straw greenish tinged colour with watery hue. On the nose citrus and more subtle herbaceous characters are overlaid by some light well integrated pencil shavings followed by some asparagus and spice end notes. The palate possesses good textural qualities and acid structure with flavours of citrus interwoven with some herbaceous characters and subtle cedary pencil shavings followed by a touch of capsicum and spice. Clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of citrus, herbaceous pencil shaving characters and a touch of capsicum.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
