Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry and liquorice which are overlaid by some smoky oak finishing with some peppered dried meat characters. Medium weight flavours of liquorice are to the fore followed by some smoky cedar, dried meats and pepper. Soft velvet smooth tannins. The smokiness being a touch prominent. Aftertaste of smoky cedar, liquorice and peppered dried meats.
