Matured in older French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark red to brick red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe dark cherries, leather, light earth and spice. The palate opens with a soft ripe dark cherry entry followed by some leather, earthy cedar and spice finishing dry with chewy tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, leather, earthy cedar and spice.
