Made from Nero d’Avola grapes this wine displays a deep dark red black tinged with a dark red hue. The nose reveals aromas of dark raspberry jam and ripe red cherries followed by some cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with ripe raspberry flavours to the fore followed by some plum jam, light earthy cedar and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of dark raspberries, plum jam and spicy cedar.
