Opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Scented aromas of liquorice and blackberries are followed by ripe blackcurrant notes, some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full in body with a supple round mouthfeel the palate features succulent flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberries over some toasty vanillin oak, a touch of dark chocolate and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice.
