Produced from a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. The nose exhibits mulberry, cedar and light earth aromas followed by hints of spicy tobacco. Medium weight with a very elegant refined feel about it the palate has flavours of ripe mulberries and dark cherries which overlay some subtle cedary tobacco and spice. Quite savoury with very fine grained velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of mulberries, dark cherries, spicy cedar and faint earth.
