Please note: this back vintage wine has been professionally cellared in ideal conditions at Nicks for many years, and we have tasted and approved the quality of the stock offered. However, due to the age and natural bottle variation of older wines, we cannot guarantee that every bottle will be perfect and we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for bottles that may show faults or variation. Although we doubt there will be faults - please purchase with this in mind.
For over 140 years, Best’s has continuously been producing wine in the Great Western wine region of Victoria. Founded in 1866 by the Best family, the Thomson’s family purchased it in 1920 and the fifth generation continue to run it today. As one of Australia’s oldest continuously family owned and operated wineries they also have access to some of the oldest vines in Australia, producing extraordinary wines with great longevity, most notably their Bin 0 Shiraz and Thomson Family Shiraz.
Made predominantly from Best’s own vineyards, the Bin 1 Shiraz is an excellent introduction to the regional style of Great Western Shiraz.
