Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays top notes of liquorice followed by some blackberry, confectionary and blackpepper. Rich and full bodied the palate delivers voluptuous flavours of liquorice and blackberry with a strong peppery overlay and a touch of dried meats on the back palate. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, meaty blackpepper and spice.
