2009 Wild Rock Gravel Pit Red Merlot Malbec

Opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose displays youthful dark cherry and mulberry fruit aromas followed by some earth and spice. Medium weight the palate delivers dark cherry and dark mulberry flavours followed by some light spicy earth like characters. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of dark cherries, earth and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2015-2016).
