Sourced from vines planted in 1908, the wine was matured in new 2700 Litre French oak casks. Deep crimson red colour with crimson purple hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherry, spice, some meaty characters and a hint of earth. On the lighter side of medium weight for Shiraz the palate displays flavours of dark cherry, dried meat, cedar and spice. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, cedar, dried meat and spice.
