2009 Thorn Clarke Sandpiper Riesling

An outstanding result at this price point 2009 is proving to be an outstanding vintage for Eden Valley & Clare Valley Rieslings, delivering wines with fabulously intense flavour profiles. Brilliant water like colour with pale straw/greenish tinge and watery hue. Aromas of lime, talc and lemon. The palate displays excellent concentration with mouthfilling flavours of lemon and lime followed by some mineral notes. Clean crisp finish with good acid backbone. Long aftertaste of lime and citrus.
Drink now or cellar 4-5 years (2010-2015)
