Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, confectionary, blackpepper and a touch of spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses flavours of liquorice, blackberry and confectionary followed by a touch of spice. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, blackpepper and spice.
