2009 Sarsfield Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Deep dark red black colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice followed by some subtle cedary characters and spice. Full bodied palate that possesses plenty of rich ripe blackcurrant and blackberry fruit followed by a touch of liquorice, some mulberry and spice. Very well integrated fine grained tannins. Long blackcurrant, liquorice, mulberry and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
