2009 Saint Clair Pioneer Block Bull Block 5 Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with an aromatic profile of violets, dark ripe cherries, some gamey cedar like qualities and spice. Medium bodied the palate is loaded with a rich flavour profile of dark cherry, dark plum, gamey cedar, toast and spice. Very mouthfilling and generous with excellent power wave. Velvet smooth tannins with long dark cherry, dark plum, toasty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016).
