Matured in 100% French oak for a period of 18 months. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark plum followed by some spice end notes. Full bodied the palate possesses very ripe dark plum flavours followed by some blackcurrant, a trace of cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark ripe plum and spice.
