2009 Poggiotondo Toscana Rosso

A Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah blend. Deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, spice, leather and earth. Light to medium weight the palate displays flavours of dark cherry, leather and spice with a dry finish. Dry, slightly chalky tannins with aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
