Totally opaque inky black colour with dark red black hue. The nose displays ripe blackcurrant top notes followed by a touch of tobacco, dusty cedar and spice. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by some black plum, cedar and spice. Chewy mouthfeel with firm structured tannins, quite dryish. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, black plum and spicy cedar.
