2009 Olivier Leflaive Puligny Montrachet

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. Like the Chassagne-Montrachet the nose is somewhat closed revealing subtle notes of white peach, citrus, biscuit and cashew. The palate is more expressive than the nose but is nonetheless the most elegant of the trio of 2009 Olivier Leflaive white burgundies tasted showing flavours of white peach, cashew, biscuity nuttiness and spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of delicate white peach, cashew and spice. This wine will build some further weight and texture with bottle age.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
