2009 Nashwauk Wrecked Shiraz

Totally opaque saturated inky black dark red colour with deep dark red black hue. Aged in new French oak for 19 months. Intense ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas dominate the aromatic profile followed by some dark chocolate, toasty oak and spice notes. Dense and richly concentrated the palate boasts super ripe dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by some ripe black cherry, vanillin oak and spice. Solidly constructed with supportive fine grained tannins. Dryish finish with long opulent liquorice, black cherry, black plum and spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
