2009 Mount View Estate Reserve Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red purple hue. The nose displays rich perfumed aromas of dark plum and ripe blackberry followed by some dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers rich succulent but youthful fruit flavours of dark chocolate, ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some spice and light toast on the back palate. Fine grained, slightly chalky but balanced tannin structure. Long dark chocolate, dark plum and spicy oak aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
