Semi translucent crimson red colour with mauve crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherry, anise and spice showing good lift. Light to medium weight the palate displays flavours of dark cherry and strawberry with some spice and anise on the back palate. Very soft fine grained tannins with moderate aftertaste of dark cherry, a touch of spice and anise.
Drink over the next 2 years (2011-2013).
