2009 Mastermind The Rook Shiraz

Opaque, black dark crimson colour with deep, dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and ripe, dark plum. The palate is quite full and rich, however, it does not quite possess the same thick texture, opulence and level of concentration as the best selling 2008. Palate flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate followed by some vanillin oak. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice and vanillin spice.
