2009 Lindemans St. George Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Maturation took place in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak for a period of 17 months. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of violets, blackcurrants, cedar, mulberry and a touch of cigar box. The palate possesses excellent concentration and richness with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant, dark mulberry and spice followed by some cedar cigar box like characters. Slightly firm and dryish tannins but still balanced. Excellent length with long blackcurrant, spice and mulberry aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years (2016-2019).
