Opaque black dark red purple colour with dark purple red hue. The nose displays strong charry oak top notes followed by some liquorice, blackberry and blackpepper. Full bodied the palate delivers flavours of liquoricy aniseed, toasty oak, blackpepper and spice. The charry oak is a little too prominent. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of aniseed, toasty oak and blackpepper.
