Totally opaque inky black dark crimson red colour with deep black dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and black plum followed by some mocha and vanillin oak. Rich, powerful and densely structured the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of liquorice and blackberry overlaid with some toasty vanillin oak finishing with a very spicy back palate. Solid firmish but fine grained tannins support the concentrated fruit. Exceptionally long liquorice, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
