Opaque black dark brick red colour with a very dark brick red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and mint emerge over some cedary tobacco characters, leather and spice. Full bodied the palate has ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by a touch of mint, some earthy cedar characters and spice which dry out towards the finish. Fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco, earth and spice.
