The Phantom red is a blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot that was matured for 16 months in French oak.
Opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays slightly restrained aromas of blackcurrant, mint, cedar and spice. Medium weight with elegant palate construction displaying flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, mint and spicy cedar along with a hint of earth. Slightly firm and dryish but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, mint and spice.Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015)
