2009 Foster & Rocco Riserva Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with transparent dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and cedar are overlaid by some leather characters followed by a touch of earth and spice. Medium weight and very savoury the palate has generous dark cherry flavours alongside some cedar and earth with a spicy dry finish. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Good length with long dark cherry, cedar, earth and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2017-2018).
