2009 Fontanafredda Briccotondo Barbera

Produced from 100% Barbera this wine was aged for approximately 5 months in Allier oak. Very deep dark crimson red purple colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries, dark plum and spice with some light leather overtones. Medium bodied the palate displays flavours of dark cherries, plum and spice followed by some earthy leather like characters on the back palate. Dry finish with fine grained tannins and aftertaste of dark cherries and spicy leather.
Cellar 2-3 years (2013-2014).
