Matured for 14 months in French oak. Deep dark red colour with brick red mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of cherry, plum and spice. Medium weight the palate exhibits flavours of dark cherry, dark plum, spice and earth. Slightly firmish, dry tannins give the wine a leathery mouthfeel. Aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and earthy leather.
