2009 Five Geese Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose provides a lifted aromatic profile of ripe blackcurrants, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied with a rich opulently textured mouthfeel the palate features generous flavours of ripe blackcurrants and liquorice over some vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, cedar and vanillin spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
