2009 Elderton Barossa Shiraz - Museum Release
Please note: Due to the age of this wine, some bottles may show signs of advanced maturity and we recommend enjoying it sooner rather than further cellaring.
Since its founding in 1982, Elderton has established itself as one of the Barossa Valley's benchmark producers, earning a reputation for richly flavoured Shiraz that consistently offers exceptional value. Family owned and operated by the Ashmead family, Elderton has been instrumental in showcasing the quality of Barossa fruit to wine lovers both in Australia and abroad. This museum release has been carefully stored in Nicks Wine Merchants' temperature-controlled cellars since release and provides a rare opportunity to revisit a mature example from one of the Barossa's most trusted producers. The fruit was sourced primarily from Elderton's estate vineyards on the banks of the North Para River, including old-vine Shiraz plantings that have played an important role in shaping the winery's reputation over the past four decades.
