2009 Douglas Laing & Co. Provenance Dailuaine 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Never easy to find, many whisky lovers remain ignorant of the existence of this Speyside gem. Owned by Diageo, Dailuaine (pronounced "dal-u-ayn") forms a major part of Dewar's blends thanks to its robust flavours, but is also released in smaller quantities as a single malt. The house style is often compared with Benrinnes.

Douglas Laing’s Provenance malts are bottled without added colouring or chill filtration, so that the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the whisky are allowed to make their own special contribution to the nose, mouthfeel, palate and finish. Distilled in 2009 and bottled from a single refill hogshead in 2019, this particular expression from Dailuaine was limited to 335 bottles.
