2009 Domaine de Nizas Le Mazet de Salleles Cabernet Syrah

Deep dark red black colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, toasty characters, liquorice, a touch of dried meats and spice. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel the palate has generous flavours of blackcurrant and liquorice overlaid with some meaty characters and a spicy dry finish. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, dried meats, subtle toastiness and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
