2009 Curly Flat Chardonnay

A generous, fuller styled Curly Flat Chardonnay.
Bright deep straw colour with pale gold edges and pale straw hue. The nose displays good intensity and complexity with aromas of toast, strong barrel ferment characters, white peach, roast almond, lees and spice emerging. The palate is quite mouthfilling possessing excellent concentration along with a soft creamy like texture. Flavours of toasty oak, roast almond, light white peach and spice are followed by some nutty lees bacon fat like characters on the back palate. Excellent length with long toasty, roast almond and spice aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 3-4 years (2012-2016).
