2009 Cullen Cullen Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon, 70% of this wine spent four months in new French oak barriques in order to build further complexity.

A delicately flavoured dry white
Brilliant very pale straw, almost water like colour with watery hue. Delicate aromas of herbaceous unripe gooseberry and citrus followed by a hint of spice. Clean crisp dry palate with subtle flavours of unripe gooseberry and lemon followed by some light grassy characters and mineral with just a hint of pencil shavings emerging on the finish. Clean crisp acidity with aftertaste of unripe gooseberry, lemon and mineral.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013)
