2009 Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Vineyard Syrah

Matured for 16 months in French oak barriques. Opaque dark purple crimson red colour with deep purple crimson hue. The nose displays aromas of black cherry, blackberry and blackpepper followed by some meaty end notes. Medium bodied and elegant in structure the palate delivers a refined flavour profile of dark plum and blackberry followed by a touch of liquorice and some meaty peppery qualities on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, dried meat and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
