2009 Clarendon Hills Kangarilla Grenache

Opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. On the nose powerful scents of ripe dark raspberry and dark plum are to the fore followed by some chocolate bullets, black cherry and confectionary. Voluptuous palate flavours of ripe dark raspberry dominate with some dark plum, a touch of liquorice and confectionary also present finishing with a spicy back palate. Excellent weight and concentration. Fine grained sturdy tannins provide excellent structural support. Long opulent dark ripe raspberry, plum jam, chocolate bullets and spice aftertaste.
