2009 Chandon ZD Vintage Blanc de Blancs

Excellent white frothy mousse showing very good hold with a very fine bead that has excellent persistence. Pale straw colour base wine. Nosing reveals delicate pear and citrus scents followed by some yeast lees and toasty baked bread. Light and crisp with a very dry finish the palate possesses elegant flavours of citrus and pear followed by some light toastiness and lees characters. Clean crisp finish with aftertaste of pear, citrus and light toast.
Cellar 3-4 years.
