Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose offers up scents of ripe blackberries and liquorice with some dark plum nuances also apparent followed by vanillin cedar and light spice notes. Full round and plush features a rich flavour profile of liquorice and ripe blackberries over traces of dark plum, vanillin confectionary and spice. Solidly built tannin structure but velvet like in appearance. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy cedar.
