Opaque, black crimson red colour with deep, dark crimson red hue. Lifted, ripe blackcurrant top notes are followed by some tobacco, cedar and spice aromas. Medium to full bodied, the palate delivers plenty of richness with flavours of ripe blackcurrant and mulberry to the fore, followed by a touch of liquorice and finishing with some cedar and spice on the back palate. Slightly dryish but balanced, fine grained tannins. Good depth with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and spicy tobacco.
