2009 Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Pinot Noir

A riper style of Pinot Noir.
This Pinot Noir displays good depth with a deep dark crimson red colour and dark crimson red hue. The nose displays ripe aromas of black cherry, dark plum and liquorice followed by a touch of spice. The palate has good weight with mouthfilling flavours of very dark cherry, dark ripe plum, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Good power wave with long dark cherry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2012-2016).
