2009 Bella Riva Sangiovese Merlot

Semi translucent dark red colour with mauve dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherry, spice and a touch of earth. Light to medium weight the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry and plum followed by a hint of earth and spicy back palate. Dry finish with fine grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherry and earth.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2011-2013).
