2009 Ashton Hills Estate Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour with dark red mauve hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with perfumed scents of dark cherry, anise, dark plums, spice and toasty oak. Medium weight the palate possesses excellent concentration and power with mouthfilling flavours of dark cherry, anise and plum with a light toasty overlay and spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of dark cherry, anise and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
