Matured for two years in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry intermix with some tobacco, a touch of bay leaf and spicy cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with rich ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours overlaid by bay leaf followed by some spicy cedary tobacco like back palate characters. Solid but fine grained tannins. Excellent depth with long blackcurrant, mulberry, light bay leaf and spicy cedar aftertaste.
