Opaque black dark red colour with very deep black dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, blackberry, dark plum and confectionary with some meaty end notes. Full bodied palate with generous flavours of dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and a touch of vanilla followed by some black pepper on the back palate. Firm, slightly dryish tannins provide the wine with good structure. Long aftertaste of liquorice, confectionary, blackberry and blackpepper.
