Yarra Yering’s Dry Red No. 1 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Near opaque dark red mauve colour with deep dark red mauve hue. Refined nose with aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, violets, cedar and spice. Medium bodied, the palate displays an elegant structure with flavours of mulberry, violet infusions, spice and cedar followed by just a hint of tobacco and earth. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of mulberry, cedar, spice and earth.
