Produced from a blend of 97% Shiraz and 3% Viognier this blend displays a totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose is a little subdued exhibiting liquorice top notes followed by some blackberry, plum and confectionary. The palate is much more upfront and forward than the nose with quite joosy and opulent flavours of blackberry, liquorice and plum followed by a touch of spice. Soft velvet like tannin structure with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary.
