2008 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red Shiraz Cabernet

This blend saw 14 months maturation in a combination of old French and American oak. Very deep dark crimson red dark purple colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of blackberry, blackpepper and blackcurrant with some spice end notes. Medium weight the palate delivers flavours of spicy blackberry and blackcurrant followed by some light pepper characters. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, blackcurrant and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
