Matured for 12 months in French oak. Opaque, black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays dark plum and meaty top notes followed by some liquorice and spicy earth. Medium bodied but possessing good richness, the palate delivers flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and spice followed by some earthy, toast like characters. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spicy, meaty, earth like characters.
